Save Substack posts and Notes you want to come back to
Newsletters pile up in the inbox and in the Substack app. Stowyt keeps the post's link with its title and author, your tags and a note, in one library with everything else you save.
On your phone
- The first time: open Stowyt on your phone, sign in, and follow the setup guide. Installing is one tap in Chrome, no app store, and it is what puts Stowyt in Android's share menu. Open the setup guide.
- In the Substack app, tap the share icon on a post or a Note and choose Stowyt.
- Pick Stowyt in the share sheet (the first time it may hide under More). The save page opens, says Saved, and offers tags, a note and a category. That's it.
On a computer
Drag the Save button from the setup guide to your bookmarks bar once, then click it on any post. Or copy the post's link and paste it into Add in your library. Either way the save shows up on your phone within a second or two.
What your library shows
Stowyt recognises posts on any publication at "…substack.com", Notes, and the links the app shares. Each save shows:
- The post's card through Substack's official embed: cover image, title, a short excerpt and the author.
- The post's title and author, your tags, your note and the day you saved it.
Good to know
- A newsletter that lives on its own domain (not "…substack.com") is saved as a web page: its title and link, without the Substack card.
- A Note is saved with its text as the title.
One library for everything you save.
Free. Nothing is downloaded or copied, only the link is kept, and your library opens on every device you sign in on.
