Stowyt

Save Instagram posts and reels where you'll find them again

Instagram's own Saved tab holds everything in one long list, and only inside Instagram. Stowyt keeps the post's link in a library of your own, next to what you save from every other app, with your tags and notes, on your phone and your computer.

On your phone

  1. The first time: open Stowyt on your phone, sign in, and follow the setup guide. Installing is one tap in Chrome, no app store, and it is what puts Stowyt in Android's share menu. Open the setup guide.
  2. In Instagram, open the post or reel and tap the paper-plane icon under it (or the ⋯ menu, then Share to…).
  3. Pick Stowyt in the share sheet (the first time it may hide under More). The save page opens, says Saved, and offers tags, a note and a category. That's it.

On a computer

Drag the Save button from the setup guide to your bookmarks bar once, then click it on any post. Or copy the post's link and paste it into Add in your library. Either way the save shows up on your phone within a second or two.

What your library shows

Stowyt recognises posts, reels, carousels and videos, from the app, the website, or a link a friend sent. Each save shows:

Good to know

Already have a pile of saves?

Instagram's "Download your information" file (Settings → Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information → Saved) imports with its collections. Import it again later and the library notices what you unsaved on Instagram in the meantime. Import lives in Settings → Your data.

One library for everything you save.

Free. Nothing is downloaded or copied, only the link is kept, and your library opens on every device you sign in on.
